The Lotus wall system is unique in that soundratings are not dependent on using retractable seals. All tests, up to the high 50 Rw test, have been done with sweep seals alone, top and bottom. So you can specify the seals to suit the project and budget without compromising acoustic performance.

Top seals are set at a fixed 30mm. Seals are 2 x triple fingers for excellent acoustics. Sweep seals accommodate +/- 5mm floor level variation, often more, particularly if the floor slopes downwards towards the stacking end. Retractable bottom seals offer 2 main benefits, easier movement and the ability to cope with more out of level floors.
