Lotus Slider Auto Braking System (SABS)


 

The Lotus Slider Auto Braking System (SABS) ensures that when approaching the end of its range of movement in the opening or closing direction, the panel is ‘braked’ so it closes softly against the receiving jamb or stop.

This protects the panel and the surrounding structures from slamming and minimises the possibility of serious finger entrapment or injury. This system does not interfere with the ease of operability of the panel.

The SABS system is only required in applications where there is limited seal friction. Please consult Lotus regarding specifying this feature.
